Which service do I need?
Choose Standard for routine servicing at your manufacturer’s interval. Choose Full if you’re selling or buying a wing, if it’s had a tree or sea landing, or if you want every panel and seam inspected and recorded.
How often should a paraglider be serviced?
Follow your manufacturer’s interval. That’s usually every 1 to 2 years or a set number of flying hours, whichever comes first. Get it checked sooner after a tree landing, a sea landing or a hard crash.
Why Wingtrim
Common questions
How long does a paraglider service take?
We book your wing into a set week. It’s usually done and back in the post by the end of that week.
What happens to the line you strength-test?
A strength test breaks the line, so it’s always replaced with a new line made to the manufacturer’s specification.
Will you do extra work without asking?
We carry out necessary work up to £50, such as line replacements, so your wing isn’t held up. For anything more, we phone or email you with the price first.
Do you service all brands?
Yes, every brand where the manufacturer’s service data is available. We work to each manufacturer’s published service manual and trim figures.
Can I drop my wing off?
Yes. The workshop is at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, BA4 6QN, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00. You’re welcome to see your wing being serviced.
Do you service school and club wings?
Yes. Contact us to book several wings together.
