Paramotor wing service and trim

Paramotor wings deal with propeller wash, exhaust heat and fuel, and reflex wings depend on accurate trim to stay stable. We service and trim reflex and dual-purpose wings to the manufacturer’s figures, so yours flies the way it was designed.

Why paramotor wings need closer attention

  • Reflex depends on trim: a reflex profile only gives its stability when the line lengths are right. As lines shrink, the reflex effect changes.
  • Symmetry: uneven shrinkage left to right makes a wing pull to one side.
  • Heat and fuel: exhaust heat and two-stroke residue age the cloth and lines.
  • Prop damage: small line nicks from the propeller are easy to miss.

What we check

The same as a paraglider service: porosity, Bettsometer fabric test, line strength (if required, with the tested line replaced by a new one made to spec), a line damage check, and trim and symmetry measurement. Trim is measured at the manufacturer’s settings at neutral trim / full slow. Your report shows the trim state before and after, plus any loop changes made. The Full Service adds a full inspection and detailed report.

Common questions

How often should a paramotor wing be serviced?

Follow your manufacturer’s interval in hours or years, whichever comes first.

Which paramotor wings do you service?

All paramotor wings except Paramania, because we don’t have Paramania service data.

Do you check the trimmers?

We measure the trim at the manufacturer’s settings at neutral trim / full slow.

Do you trim to a different spec on request?

Yes, if your manufacturer publishes it. Add it to the booking notes.
